Music

MixwitMixwit make a mixtapeMixwit mixtapes

I warned you I wouldn't be around for a couple days. The dance was fun! I'm glad I won't have to do it again though, because it was a lot of work. The haunted walk took hours to set up. I didn't get pictures, and I'm kicking myself for it.

Less than a week until Halloween! Keep checking Mrs. B's 31 Days of Halloween, it's too good to miss! I just recieved my shirt I won from Dawtch today. I will take a picture soon, but I'm not sure if I will be able to wear it for Halloween. It's going to be cold! We've been known to get snow on Halloween before. I'm hoping we won't this year, but you never know.

I bought my journal for Soul Coaching yesterday. It's already colorful, but I may still decorate it. I'm very excited for November. =)

Six Random Things!

I got tagged by Nydia for the Six Random Things Meme about myself.
Rules:
1. Link to the person or persons who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them.
5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged and leave a comment on their blog
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

1) I love to write. I used to want to be a writer, but I changed my mind because I really don't think I'm that good at it. I still write stories and poems when I get the inspiration for it but I haven't been inspired to write in a while.
2) I have never broken a bone or had stitches before. I have been close to needing stitches, but they used a skin glue instead. I was so relieved, because I was more scared about that than the fact that I was bleeding.
3) I have always been quick to tears. This causes some problems for me. People think I'm some sort of delicate person who they need to be careful with or they'll hurt her feelings, when really I could just be mad.
4)I have lived in the same small town my entire life, and I still don't know the names of all the roads. It's pathetic, but true. I never payed attention to those things before. Now that I am learning to drive I might want to know the roads.
5) I have an over-protective family. They have sheltered me my whole life. I don't know what I'm going to do when I get to college.
6) I am scared of spiders. I know it's silly, especially when I only see three kinds of spiders where I live. We either have daddy long-legs, little jumping spiders, or barn spiders. Nothing too dangerous. It's something about the legs that just freak me out.

Because I don't have many blog friends yet, and almost all the ones I do have have already done this, I can't tag six people. My only blog friend who has not done this is Aelwyn at Hedgewitch Hollow! And I believe she did something similar a few months ago. Hope she doesn't mind!

Driving Test

Today I went to take my driving test. I passed the written with only 4 out of 30 wrong. I was so relieved! Because the DMV was not busy I even got to take the driving part. This is where I got nervous. I do not really like driving to begin with, but I know I need my license. Skipping all the horrible details, I'll just say that I did not pass the driving test. I know what I need to work on, and I'll be driving everywhere we need to go for the next two weeks. I go back to try again November 3rd.

After the test I went and bought things to make chocolate covered pretzels. My cousin and I are going to make them later this afternoon for the Halloween Dance on Friday. I'll get pictures and try to post them tonight when I get home. I will probably not be on the computer at all tomorrow or Friday. Tomorrow we need to set up the Haunted Walk and Friday I'll be helping at the dance.

This afternoon I have homework to catch up on. Maybe I'll find some time to relax, I am skipping school after all!

Pumpkin Bread is Wicked Awesome

Yesterday I made Mrs. B’s Prosperity Pumpkin Bread. It is so delicious! If you like pumpkin, I suggest making this bread. It’s a simple recipe, unless you’re like me and decide to make a double batch even though your biggest bowl is too small. xD Because I made so much I am giving it away to people. Everyone who’s had some loved it.
I planned on posting about the bread yesterday, but my computer decided it didn’t want to connect to the internet during the afternoon. It’s working fine today so I think we just have a problem with the wireless router. We need to buy a new one.

Today I had to leave school early to go and get jabbed with a needle. I hate shots, they hurt- and these HPV ones hurt worse than most. What’s stinks is my little sister didn’t even freak out like I did. It would have made me feel better if she had.

If I ever finish all my homework I will find something more interesting than my life to post about. Finding things to write about shouldn’t be a problem next month. Soul Coaching begins on November 1st! Anyone who is participating, remember to check out the blog and see what you can do to prepare for the 1st.
