Bad electrical hookup or what? I am not sure what it is but some weird things have happened around my house. I have an old lamp that sometimes randomly turns off. It has never bothered me when it does this because of its age. It sometimes turns back on hours later. Again, it’s expected that if it turns off that it will turn back on.
Weirder things have happened in the past couple months though. One night while my sister was downstairs, and I was sitting in my room, her radio turned on. I yelled down to her to come upstairs and turn it off. It freaked both of us out a bit. My sister was convinced it was a ghost! We have lived in this house for three years now, and I don’t think it has a ghost in it. I do think I have convinced some Fairies to visit me though.
I told her I thought it was a Fae playing a joke. She said that she hoped it was, because a ghost would be scarier. I told her to simply ask politely that whatever it was leave her things alone. She did this and did not have any more problems, until last night.
Last night my sister was downstairs and I was upstairs reading. She always forgets to turn off her lights when she leaves her bedroom. Usually I end up walking in there and doing it for her. I didn’t really want to get up and put my book down though, so I just left it. Her light is fairly new, so there was no reason for it to just turn off like it did!
Tia went and asked the ghost or Fairy to please leave her electrical things alone again. I wish I had done the same. Around 1 or 2 in the morning my light goes and turns on! It didn’t turn off at all by itself that night, so I don’t know why it turned on.
Has anyone else had things like this happen? What do you think? The Fae have played tricks on me in the past, so I do think it could be them. I don’t doubt that the wiring in our house is bad, but it has only happened to me when I am upstairs by myself or my sister is asleep in the other room.
I would have the wiring checked first just to rule that possibility out. I don't know a whole lot about the Fae,lol my specialty is paranormal activity. There are many possibilities going on here. I guess it could be Fae, I know that they like o take things and hide them so why wouldn't they mess with lighting and radios too? It could be a ghost also. Contrary to popular beleif paranormal activity doesn't occur all the time or very often. Even in residual activity (which is like a recording of time more than an actual ghost) it won't happen often. If this were happening daily I would suggest it wasn't ghostly behavior. And with the veil between spirit world and earthly world thinning now is a time where activity will increase. But here is another possibility, it could be you or your sisters energies causing it to happen. Teens especially can "make" things happen unknowingly. Just as hormones are out of whack so are your energies and abilities. Assuming your sister is still in her teenage years its a likely possibility.
ReplyDeleteI do live in a home haunted by the previous owners. They won't leave either, trust me I have tried! Once you get used to it, its not bad at all. I just get irritated sometimes when they decide they want to talk to me cause its usually at the wee hours of the morning.
My sister is turning 13 next month. I never thought of our energy possibly causing it.
ReplyDeleteI have lived in a home that had a residual energy in it before. She had been there for years (since my mom lived there as a little girl.) It was a neat experience. She was just a recording though, and dissapeared when things got blocked off.
The light going on or off only happens every now and then. It was only annoying that my light woke me up in the middle of the night.
My experience would say ghost rather than fae. It might just be that it is trying to get your attention, as it's that time of year when they are able to get their point across more easily!

My brother is a "ghost hunter" in Texas. I've actually worked with his crew a few times, when people wanted to rid their homes of energies that frightened them. Sometimes I think it's more about giving people power over their fear (taking power away from the energy) that works more than anything.
Sounds like you are treating the situation just the right way.
These are not ghosts but, especially because of the time of year, I think loved ones on the other side may just want you to know that they're with you. Tell them you go the message, that you miss and love them and they no longer have to send you signs. I think this will help!
